I started this website in connection with my new book, How to Read the Bible. Anyone interested in seeing that book’s footnotes, appendix, and reader’s questions and comments should click on the tab, “How to Read the Bible.”

While I was at it, however, I thought I might as well include here some of the other things that people often ask me for: a recent c.v., copies of some of my articles, a list of up-coming talks, answers to questions about the Bible, and links to sites from which my other books can be ordered. For any of these, please click on the appropriate tab.

Please note: I’m still working on this website; as of now, not all of the above are in place, but I hope they soon will be.
